What ensues is a hilarious adventure that spans the entire village, pitting the ruthless fishmonger with the two equally-witted octopi.

Well, for a 2½ minute animated short there isn't really much to say. It's entertaining, highly pleasing and a great way to cheer you up if you're feeling down. Oktapodi definitely deserves its Oscar nomination for Best Animated Short – in fact, I think it's nearly as good as Pixar's contender Presto. After a decade of dominance and superiority from said studio, this may be a year where an underdog wins - namely, Oktapodi.
